friday, my meeting with a friend from Maidstone been cancelled, great, that means ive got literally nothing to do…. just great!
so ive decided to give a go for ff 3.5 rc1, if you know what i mean. first of all i had to install nigtly tester tools add-on in order to work some older extensions with this new shiny rc1, crap. that means - google gears, google redesingned and better privacy add-on’s not compatitble with ff 3.5 rc1 just yet.
so… what we’ve got so far - speed, more or less ok, but slower then google chrome. launch time - better than ff 3.0.11, way better. or is that just for me? say you’ve got a folder in bookmarks toolbar, say with 22 bookmarks within. and let just say you’ve been stupid enough to load them all at once. what happens - oh yeah, ff does the job, but grabs a bit of memory. then somehow manages to setle down. which kinda nice…
